Dear Yarn and Ivories,
Are you really very important to me? Do I truly love you? Let me count the ways...
Really? Should I leave home and spend weeks with my family on the beaches of Mexico, Costa Rica, and Jamaica? Should I lazily knit on a balcony with a view of the Pacific stretching endlessly before me, scanning the waters for dolphins or whales? Does the Christmas tree really need to be removed from my living room? And the Christmas trimmings be stored for another year? Should I play piano for four rehearsals a week? Should I try to make sense of two church organs so I don't embarrass myself on Sundays? Should I squeak out some notes at community chorus in case I get my voice back by next weekend? Should I knit?
SO many questions! And I can answer YES to them all. So, my dear blog, you'll have to wait your turn.

Is your tree still up, too?
