Other projects

This doll (tops turvy) has languished in a drawer for 5-6 years.  Celina made the skirt, I did the rest.  All she needed for Christmas was the red hair and face!  Perfect for a seven year old granddaughter.

This well worn pullover... has been dismantled and someday will be repurposed as a stuffed toy.

Knitting

I got some knitting done between travel and hurting my wrist.  Luckily I had these finished before I stopped knitting totally on December 1.

A start of an Icelandic pullover...alas, not finished.  

Due to wrist injury...but promising to be nice.

Yarn cake

A subway ride to "The Yarn Cake". 

Yarn and cakes!  The baker minding the store baking....aroma!  We had to wait an hour for our almond gluten free torte.  Darn, had to sit and knit, give advice to shoppers on color choices, and generally enjoyed looking at a wall of yarn!

Later, we stopped in at the botanical gardens. 

Flying back to Iceland and home...
